Sehr geehrter Herrr Klaus Krumfuß,
sehr geehrter Herr Ulrich Watermann,
sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

hiermit richte ich folgende Petition an den Niedersächsischen Landtag. Es geht darum, speziell für Schulkinder entwickelte Laptops in niedersächsischen Schulen einzusetzen. Der Text dieser Petition ist das Ergebnis einer gemeinsamen Arbeit des OLPC Deutschland e.V. und weiterer Internet-Nutzer und entstand auf einer Wiki-Seite unter

Einsatz von XO-Laptops in niedersächsischen Schulen

Die „One Laptop per Child association“ entwickelt nicht nur einen „low-cost laptop“, sondern auch ein Lernkonzept. Dieses Konzept wird den teilnehmenden Kindern Vorteile verschaffen gegenüber Kindern, die ausschließlich mit traditionellen Schulmitteln unterrichtet wurden.

Das Konzept ist nicht nur für Entwicklungsländer geeignet sondern kann auch die Bildungssituation in Niedersachsen verbessern.

Das Land Niedersachsen beteiligt sich am OLPC-Projekt und macht an Grundschulen Pilotversuche mit OLPC-Laptops. Wenn die Pilotversuche erfolgreich verlaufen, wird das Projekt auf alle Grundschulen und ggf. weitere Schulen im Land Niedersachsen ausgeweitet.
